Mainbresson is located in the Ardennes department, within walking distance of the Ardennes nature reserve. The village is located in the region of Thiérarche and borders directly on the department of Aisne. The Thiérarche is known for its many "castle churches". Mainbresson is 60 km away from the beautiful cities of Reims and Laon.

Looking for a cottage in the French Ardennes? about 45 km from the Belgian border a 75-minute drive from Charleroi, lies the hamlet of Mainbresson (part of the municipality of Rocquigny), with about 85 inhabitants...
Mainbresson is easily accessible by car. In the surrounding villages (from 7 km) there is ample opportunity for shopping. From Rethel, 30 km away, you are in 75 minutes by TGV in the middle of Paris. The beautiful cities of Reims, Charleville-Mézières and Laon are within 1 hour's drive.

Good food and champagne. Besides our own large kitchen and BBQ place you can eat delicious food in the big cities like Reims, Laon and Charleville-Mézières. Also in the village of Rozoy-sur-Serre is a hotel-restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food for reasonable prices. There are other restaurants / snack bars, etc. in the vicinity. The local specialties and the Champagne from Reims and surroundings are world famous.
